About the Debutante Ball

The Kerang and District Agricultural Society Debutante Ball was a social tradition on the district’s calendar, held annually in the Kerang Memorial Hall. Over 80 Balls have been held where debutantes and their partners have been presented to family, guests and the local community.

The very first ‘Ag Society Deb Ball’ was held on April 30, 1934. Over Thirteen hundred debutantes have been presented since that time.

The Kerang Ag Society no longer run Deb Balls, though they remian an important part of our history.
